Sometimes it can be helpful to quickly generate MIDI timecode on a computer for testing purposes or very simple workflows. This can easily be achieved with free and slim software.
- For Mac you can use Horae: https://macdownload.informer.com/horae/
The software is pretty self-explanatory. You can find all important controls in the main screen.
- For Windows you can use MIDI-OX: http://www.midiox.com/
Choose View -> MTC Transport Panel.
In this panel you can start, stop, pause and edit your timecode.
The timecode can be routed to any MIDI port that is recognized by the programs. All Lockit devices will automatically appear as MIDI interface when they are hooked up to the computer via USB.
