In this guide we’ll show how to make a Zaxcom DEVA 24 accept external Timecode.
Turn on all your Lockit devices, choose one of them to be the Master Clock – then press-and-hold the green button to broadcast timecode and frame rate through ACN and you are set.
Make sure all devices and Lockits run on the same frame rate.
- On the Lockit, press green and red simultaneously to enter menu, then and navigate to “Project Rate”. The NanoLockit frame rate can be adjusted in the LockitToolbox or by connecting an external LTC source with the right frame rate.
- On the DEVA, press the F4/TC button to enter the Timecode screen.
- In the touch screen, Tap the Frame rate button repeatedly to select your desired frame rate.
How to make the DEVA 24 accept external Timecode:
- In case you have left the timecode screen, tap the F4 button again to re-enter.
- On the touch screen, tap the "Timecode Run Mode" button until it shows CJAM TC/UB
For the Zaxcom DEVA 24 you need an LTC-OUT cable.

Connect it to the TC In connector on the left side panel.
Now the DEVA 24 accepts the external timecode source. You can check the Timecode screen to monitor the incoming Lockit timecode ("Reader TC")
