The UMP III does feature 48V and 12V phantom power as well as legacy 12V T-Power (German: Tonaderspeisung).
- 48V phantom is the go-to powering method for most condenser mics.
- 12V can be used with compatible microphones to further increase the UMP's battery runtime.
- 12V Tonader is more or less obsolete by now but required for some legendary microphones that some folks still love and use.
Attention, never connect a Phantom microphone to a T-power input or vice-versa. Doing so can result in damage to your microphone!
